Hello there! My name is Brandon, and I am writing to you in regards to getting a
little information about the Discovery.
Before I go on, I must say I was surprised and glad to have found your site! You
folks seem to be the be-all end-all when it comes to anything Land Rover in
Ontario, and that allowed me to breath a sigh of relief! Glad to see other Land
Rover enthusiasts out there!
I've been looking to get into a Series 1 Discovery
for quite some time, and have looked at a few over the years. But I've heard
conflicting reports about what I should be looking out for, and what I should
run away from. I've been an avid Volvo driver, but since they're terrible in the
snow, I'm looking to get into something that wont spend more time going
backwards rather than forwards in the winter time! Should I be looking more at the newer Series 2 or
am I alright looking for a well kept Series 1? Any information you could provide
me would be great!
